The Bishop Diego Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Newbury Park Panthers to 2 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now possess a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Villanova Prep for a non-league game on Thursday, August 31. Bishop Diego will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-5.
The Panthers (4-7) will now prepare for their game against La Reina (Thousand Oaks, CA). The Regents enter the non-league game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, La Reina nipped Louisville (Woodland Hills, CA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
