The Sandy Pioneers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Lincoln Cardinals to 0 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Pioneers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to David Douglas for a 6A Mt. Hood game on Tuesday, September 5. Sandy will confront a Scots team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over McDaniel (Portland, OR). The Scots record now stands at 1-0.
The Cardinals (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Jefferson (Portland, OR). The Democrats enter the 6A Portland Interscholastic game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Jefferson dropped by Cleveland (Portland, OR), 3-0, in a league game.
