The Burke County Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Cross Creek Razorbacks to 0 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Westside for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 31. Burke County will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Johnson (Augusta, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-12.

With the loss, Cross Creek drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Razorbacks host Westside (Augusta, GA) to clash with the Patriots in a 3A Area 4 outing on Thursday, September 5. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 3-13. Westside lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Burke County (Waynesboro, GA)
