Colorado High School Flag Football - Standley Lake trounces Wheat Ridge

In Friday's non-league match, the host Standley Lake Gators flag football squad scored a decisive 40-0 triumph over the Wheat Ridge Farmers.

The Gators (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Bear Creek (Lakewood, CO). The Bears come into the 4A Jeffco match with a 0-2 record.

Coming up next, the Farmers meet the Evergreen Cougars (Evergreen, CO) in a 4A Jeffco match, on Friday, August 29. Wheat Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 2-1 record after their 12-6 league win over Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO).
