The Marquette Manor Baptist Academy Minutemen triumphed over the visiting Lake County Baptist Lions soccer squad by a margin of 8-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Minutemen now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Varsity Opponent for a non-league bout on Friday, September 5.
With the loss, Lake County Baptist moves to 0-1 on the year. The Lions travel to Marquette Manor Baptist Academy (Downers Grove, IL) to face the Minutemen in a Illinois Association of Christian Schools contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Minutemen enter the contest with a record of 2-0.
