Texas High School Volleyball - Palacios tips Rice Consolidated

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Palacios Sharks volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Rice Consolidated Raiders.
The Sharks (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Ganado (Ganado, TX). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Ganado was edged by Sacred Heart (Hallettsville, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Raiders now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shiner for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Rice Consolidated will face a Comanches squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX). The Comanches record now stands at 10-9.
