North Carolina High School Volleyball - Smithfield-Selma crushed by South Johnston

The South Johnston Trojans topped the visiting Smithfield-Selma Spartans volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fike for a Quad County 3A test on Thursday, September 1. South Johnston will confront a Demons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Demons record now stands at 5-2.

The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Warriors enter the Quad County 3A test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Hunt gained a win over Princeton (Princeton, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.
