The Knights (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ankeny (Ankeny, IA). The Hawks enter the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Ankeny achieved victory over Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Lions now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pleasant Valley for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. Linn-Mar will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Kennedy (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-0.
