Ohio High School Volleyball - Fairfield Union Vinton County

The Vinton County Vikings topped the host Fairfield Union Falcons volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Vikings play the Nelsonville-York Buckeyes (Nelsonville, OH) in a Tri-Valley - Ohio outing, on Tuesday, September 2. Vinton County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Buckeyes come into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Eastern (Reedsville, OH).

With the loss, Fairfield Union drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Amanda-Clearcreek (Amanda, OH) to play the Aces in a Mid-State - Buckeye game on Tuesday, September 2. The Aces enter the game with a record of 3-5. Amanda-Clearcreek won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Cristo Rey (Columbus, OH)
