North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ayden - Grifton over South Lenoir

The Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) volleyball overcame the visiting South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC), 3-1 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Ayden - Grifton betters its record to 2-3 on the year. The Chargers travel to Farmville Central (Farmville, NC) to face the Jaguars in a Eastern Plains 2A outing on Thursday, September 1. The Jaguars go into the outing with a record of 1-2. Farmville Central won 3-0 in their recent league outing against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC)

The Blue Devils now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Richlands for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 1. South Lenoir will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-5.
