Ohio High School Volleyball - New Riegel crushed by Danbury

The Danbury Lakers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting New Riegel Blue Jackets to 0 in the Lakers league victory on Thursday.

The Lakers now have a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Old Fort for a Sandusky Bay - River game on Tuesday, September 5. Danbury will meet a Stockaders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Toledo Christian (Toledo, OH). The Stockaders record now stands at 4-1.

The Blue Jackets (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH). The Golden Bears enter the Sandusky Bay - River game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Gibsonburg dropped by Lakota (Kansas, OH), 3-0, in a league game.
