In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Evanston Wildkits volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Wheeling Wildcats.

The Wildkits (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Ramblers enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Loyola Academy notched a victory over Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Proviso West Panthers (Hillside, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 3. Wheeling will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Addison Trail (Addison, IL).
