The Katy Tigers volleyball team (Katy, TX), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Langham Creek Lobos (Houston, TX)

The Lobos (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Stratford (Houston, TX). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Stratford nipped Klein (Klein, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Heights Bulldogs (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 10. Katy will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Galena Park (Galena Park, TX).
