With the win, Amarillo upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Sandies host Midland (Midland, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Midland won 48-13 in their recent non-league outing against Coronado (Lubbock, TX)

With the loss, Cleveland moves to 2-1 on the season. The Storm host Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM) to encounter the Bulldawgs in a non-league outing on Friday, September 8. The Bulldawgs go into the outing with a record of 0-3. Las Cruces lost 55-28 in their recent non-league outing against Eastwood (El Paso, TX)
