Mississippi High School Football - Simmons gets by Leflore County

The Simmons Blue Devils football squad scored 6 points and restricted the visiting Leflore County Tigers to 0 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Friday.

The Blue Devils now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edwards for a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. Simmons will play a Tigers squad coming off a 46-0 non-league loss to Gentry (Indianola, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the South Delta Bulldogs (Rolling Fork, MS) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 8. Leflore County will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 28-6 non-league loss to Humphreys County (Belzoni, MS).
