The Hornets (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mullin (Mullin, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Mullin defeated Iredell (Iredell, TX), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Richland Springs Coyotes (Richland Springs, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 13. Rising Star will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Memorial Christian Academy (Killeen, TX).
