Alabama High School Volleyball - Kendrick overwhelmed by Russell County

In Monday's non-league battle, the host Russell County Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Kendrick Cherokees.
The Warriors (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Saint James (Montgomery, AL). The Trojans come into the 6A Area 4 battle with a 16-3 record. In their last battle, Saint James achieved victory over St. Luke's Episcopal (Mobile, AL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cherokees clash with the Spencer Greenwave (Columbus, GA) in a 2A Area 2 battle, on Tuesday, September 12. Kendrick will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Greenwave come into the battle with a 7-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA).
