In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Schurz Bulldogs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the North Grand Eagle Owls.

The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rickover Naval (Chicago, IL). The Seadragons come into the challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Rickover Naval was nudged by Juarez (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagle Owls meet the Senn Bulldogs (Chicago, IL) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 12. North Grand will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 league loss to Amundsen (Chicago, IL).
