Georgia High School Softball - Stephenson knocked off by Douglass

The Douglass Astros overwhelmed the host Stephenson Jaguars softball squad by a count of 18-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Astros meet the Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) in a 3A Region 5 outing, on Monday, September 15. Douglass will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 7-3 record after their 24-6 league win over North Clayton (College Park, GA).

With the loss, Stephenson moves to 2-8 on the season. The Jaguars host Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA) to encounter the Saints in a 3A Region 5 outing on Tuesday, September 16. The Saints go into the test with a record of 1-9.
