In Thursday's league challenge, the host Richland County Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Lawrenceville Indians.

The Tigers (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem (Salem, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Salem was beaten by Massac County (Metropolis, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 17. Lawrenceville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record.
