The Washburn Castle Guards topped the visiting Lac Courte Oreilles Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's league test.
The Castle Guards now have a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mellen for a Indianhead - East test on Thursday, September 15. Washburn will confront a Granite Diggers team coming off a 3-1 league win over South Shore (Port Wing, WI). The Granite Diggers record now stands at 5-3.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Winter (Winter, WI). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Winter gained a win over Bruce (Bruce, WI), 3-0, in a league test.
