In Monday's non-league battle, the host Middletown Blue Dragons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Northwest Catholic Lions.
The Blue Dragons (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Plainville (Plainville, CT). The Blue Devils come into the Central Connecticut - South battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Plainville went down by Windsor (Windsor, CT), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lions encounter the South Windsor Bobcats (South Windsor, CT) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 14. Northwest Catholic will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Bobcats come into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Conard (West Hartford, CT).
