The Galesburg-Augusta Rams held off the host Black River Rats volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Rams now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kellogg for a Southwestern - Valley test on Thursday, September 14. Galesburg-Augusta will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Martin (Martin, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 0-5.

The Rats (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Gobles (Gobles, MI). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Gobles was nudged by Saugatuck (Saugatuck, MI), 3-0, in a league test.
