In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Northview Wildcats football squad scored a decisive 78-0 victory over the Sparta Spartans.
The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Holland Christian (Holland, MI). The Maroons enter the Ottawa-Kent - Black match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Holland Christian walloped Holland (Holland, MI), 40-21, in a non-league battle.
The Spartans now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Coopersville for a River Cities Alliance battle on Friday, September 19. Sparta will play a Broncos team coming off a 33-20 league loss to Lowell (Lowell, MI). The Broncos record now stands at 0-3.
