In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Riviera Prep Bulldogs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Ransom Everglades Raiders.

The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Brendan (Miami, FL). The Sabres go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, St. Brendan nudged Downtown Doral (Doral, FL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Raiders now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop Carroll for a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. Ransom Everglades will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hialeah Educational Academy (Hialeah, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
