North Carolina High School Soccer - Clover Garden School knocks off Ascend Leadership

The Clover Garden School Grizzlies soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Ascend Leadership Aviators to 1 in the Grizzlies league victory on Friday.
The Grizzlies now hold a 6-1 record. They play next when they host River Mill for a Central Tar Heel 1A game on Monday, September 15. Clover Garden School will face a Jaguars team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Central Carolina Academy (Sanford, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-6.
The Aviators (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC). The Lions go into the Central Tar Heel 1A bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Southern Wake Academy was overwhelmed by Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC), 3-2, in a league bout.
