Nebraska High School Volleyball - Grand Island tips Bellevue East

September 12, 2025: Bellevue, NE 68005

The Grand Island Islanders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Bellevue East Chieftains to 1 in the Islanders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Islanders now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Lincoln Southwest for a A District outing on Tuesday, September 16. Grand Island will play a Silver Hawks team coming off a 3-2 league win over Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE). The Silver Hawks record now stands at 6-0.

The Chieftains (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Buena Vista (Omaha, NE). The Bison go into the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Buena Vista was edged by Concordia (Omaha, NE), 2-0, in a non-league game.
