Fans at Friday's league contest between the Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX) and the visiting Pottsboro Cardinals (Pottsboro, TX), observed Howe's volleyball team top Pottsboro by a count of 3-1.

The Bulldogs (12-15) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX). The Tigers enter the 3A Region II District 11 contest with a 18-11 record. In their last contest, Blue Ridge was knocked off by Gunter (Gunter, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Cardinals meet the S & S Consolidated Rams (Sadler, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 contest, on Tuesday, September 16. Pottsboro will attempt to move on its 9-11 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 17-13 record after their 3-1 league loss to Bells (Bells, TX).
