The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL) and the host Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL), saw Belvidere North's volleyball squad beat Jefferson by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Belvidere North upgrades its record to 10-3 on the year. The Blue Thunder host Lutheran (Rockford, IL) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 14. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Lutheran won 2-0 in their recent league bout against North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL)

The J-Hawks now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Guilford for a Northern Illinois NIC-10 bout on Thursday, September 15. Jefferson will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 2-12.
