The Vestaburg Wolverines felled the visiting Carson City-Crystal Eagles football team by a score of 38-30 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolverines play the Sacred Heart Academy Irish (Mt. Pleasant, MI) in a Mid-State - Red (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, September 27. Vestaburg will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Merrill (Merrill, MI). The Vandals go into the Mid-State - Blue (8 Man) challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Merrill toppled Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI), 30-26, in a league challenge.
