Ohio High School Football - Ridgemont prevails Elgin

In Friday's league match, the host Ridgemont Golden Gophers football squad scored a good 28-0 triumph over the Elgin Comets.

The Golden Gophers (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Montpelier (Montpelier, OH). The Locomotives come into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Montpelier defeated Vanlue (Vanlue, OH), 40-8, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Comets confront the Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets (Rawson, OH) in a Northwest Central match, on Friday, September 20. Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Fighting Hornets come into the match with a 1-3 record after their 20-7 league loss to North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH).
