In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Summit Storm volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Astoria Fishermen.

With the win, Summit advances its record to 6-4 on the season. The Storm host Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR) to face the Raiders in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 3-0. Crescent Valley won 3-2 in their recent league test against South Albany (Albany, OR)

The Fishermen now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scappoose for a 4A Cowapa test on Tuesday, September 16. Astoria will play a Indians team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Phoenix (Phoenix, OR). The Indians record now stands at 4-7.
