Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the host Todd County Falcons (Mission, SD), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots (3-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD). The Cobblers enter the AA District 1 challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Rapid City Central beat Brookings (Brookings, SD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Falcons face the Chamberlain Cubs (Chamberlain, SD) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 16. Todd County will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Cubs go into the test with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Crow Creek (Stephan, SD).
