Nebraska High School Volleyball - North Platte Gretna East

September 13, 2025: North Platte, NE 69101

Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE) boosters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host North Platte Bulldogs (North Platte, NE), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Griffins (7-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Millard West (Omaha, NE). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Millard West was beaten by Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE), 3-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 16. North Platte will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Minutemen go into the test with a 4-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Freeman (Adams, NE).
