In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Summit Storm volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the North Medford Black Tornado.
The Storm (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Astoria (Astoria, OR). The Fishermen come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Astoria achieved victory over Seaside (Seaside, OR), 3-0, in a league test.
The Black Tornado now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Eugene for a 6A Southwest test on Tuesday, September 16. North Medford will face a Axe squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over North Eugene (Eugene, OR). The Axe record now stands at 6-0.
