The Dyer County Choctaws soccer squad scored 10 points and held the visiting Obion County Rebels to 1 in the Choctaws non-league victory on Saturday.

The Choctaws now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ripley for a non-league bout on Monday, September 16. Dyer County will play a Tigers squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Tipton-Rosemark Academy (Millington, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Obion County moves to 2-7 on the year. The Rebels host Crockett County (Alamo, TN) to play the Cavaliers in a AA District 14 bout on Monday, September 16. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Crockett County won 5-2 in their recent league bout against Dyer County (Newbern, TN)
