Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC), 3-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bobcats confront the Tri-County Jaguars (Murphy, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A challenge, on Monday, September 19. Blue Ridge Early College will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 8-2 league loss to Hayesville (Hayesville, NC).
The Maroon Devils now have a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host Hayesville for a Smoky Mountain 1A challenge on Monday, September 19. Swain County will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 8-2 league win over Tri-County (Murphy, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-1.
