Texas High School Football - Bowie routed by Honey Grove

The Bowie Pirates football team (Simms, TX), was ripped 47-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Honey Grove Warriors (Honey Grove, TX)

The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Alba-Golden (Alba, TX). The Panthers come into the 2A-1 Region III District 9 challenge with a 4-0 record.

The Pirates now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Smackover for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 22. Bowie will meet a Buckaroos team coming off a 42-0 non-league loss to Mineral Springs (Mineral Springs, AR). The Buckaroos record now stands at 1-2.
