The Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA) football overcame the visiting Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA), 28-13 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bruins face the Silver Creek Raiders (San Jose, CA) in a Santa Teresa - Foothill bout, on Friday, September 23. Branham will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 38-24 non-league loss to Overfelt (San Jose, CA).
