The Menaul Panthers football team (Albuquerque, NM), was ripped 58-12 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Clayton Yellowjackets (Clayton, NM)
The Yellowjackets (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM). The come into the 8-Man District 3 (8 Man) challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Fort Sumner/House trounced Magdalena (Magdalena, NM), 46-34, in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pine Hill for a 8-Man District 1 (8 Man) challenge on Saturday, September 24. Menaul will meet a Warriors team coming off a 53-0 non-league win over Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.
