In Friday's league match, the host Plum Mustangs football squad scored a good 42-13 victory over the Norwin Knights.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA) in a WPIAL AAAAA Big East match, on Friday, September 23. Plum will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Gators enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 16-7 league loss to Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA).
The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Woodland Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Wolverines come into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Woodland Hills notched a victory over North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA), 14-0, in a non-league test.
