Missouri High School Softball - Putnam County bounces Green City

The Putnam County Midgets (Unionville, MO) softball routed the visiting Green City Gophers (Green City, MO), 7-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Midgets (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Maysville (Maysville, MO). The Wolverines go into the non-league bout with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Maysville nipped Lathrop (Lathrop, MO), 8-6, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Gophers play the La Plata Bulldogs (La Plata, MO) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 21. Green City will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record.
