The Carrier Mills-Stonefort Wildcats prevailed the host Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DuQuoin for a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. Carrier Mills-Stonefort will confront a Indians team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL). The Indians record now stands at 12-7.

The Wildcats (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL). The Panthers enter the Southern Illinois River-to-River Mississippi test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Pinckneyville gained a win over DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
