The North Central Thunder held off the host Ipswich Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's league test.

The Thunder now have a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sully Buttes for a B Region 6 test on Tuesday, September 19. North Central will confront a Chargers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Lyman (Presho, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 7-5.

The Tigers (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Langford (Langford, SD). The Lions enter the non-league test with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Langford held off Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD), 3-0, in a non-league test.
