Massachusetts High School Volleyball - North Reading over Salem

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA) and the host Salem Witches (Salem, MA), observed North Reading's volleyball team top Salem by a count of 3-1.

The Hornets (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ipswich (Ipswich, MA). The Tigers enter the Cape Ann contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Ipswich notched a victory over Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School (Hathorne, MA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Witches meet the Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA) in a Northeast contest, on Wednesday, September 18. Salem will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Big Blue enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Georgetown (Georgetown, MA).
