California High School Flag Football - Whitney falls to Granite Bay

September 16, 2025: Granite Bay, CA 95746

The Granite Bay Grizzlies felled the visiting Whitney Wildcats flag football squad by a count of 19-9 in Tuesday's league test.

The Grizzlies now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Francis for a Sierra Foothill League test on Thursday, September 18. Granite Bay will meet a Troubadours squad coming off a 41-2 league loss to Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA). The Troubadours record now stands at 13-2.

With the defeat, Whitney drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Davis Sr. (Davis, CA) to meet the Blue Devils in a Sierra Foothill League test on Thursday, September 18. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 1-5. Davis Sr. lost 19-6 in their recent league test against Rocklin (Rocklin, CA)
