The Thomas Jefferson Spartans flag football team scored 18 points and restricted the host Hinkley Thunder to 13 in the Spartans league win on Tuesday.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Lincoln Lancers (Denver, CO) in a 4A City challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Thomas Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Lancers go into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 44-0 league loss to George Washington (Denver, CO).

The Thunder (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Bruce Randolph (Denver, CO). The Grizzlies go into the 4A City challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Bruce Randolph was edged by Regis Groff (Denver, CO), 22-0, in a league challenge.
