The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Pleasant Hill Billies (Pleasant Hill, OR) and the host Monroe Dragons (Monroe, OR), saw Pleasant Hill's volleyball squad notch a victory over Monroe by a count of 3-0.
The Billies (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Elmira (Elmira, OR). The Falcons enter the 3A Mountain Valley contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Elmira was knocked off by Siuslaw (Florence, OR), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Dragons battle the Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 17. Monroe will attempt to move on its 2-12 season record.
