The Fairview Apaches football team (Sherwood, OH), was beaten 27-8 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Antwerp Archers (Antwerp, OH)
The Archers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayne Trace (Haviland, OH). The Raiders come into the Green Meadows challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Wayne Trace was beaten by Tinora (Defiance, OH), 35-7, in a league challenge.
The Apaches now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paulding for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 17. Fairview will meet a Panthers team coming off a 21-0 league loss to Fairview (Sherwood, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.
