The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Wise Pumas (Upper Marlboro, MD) and the host Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD), observed Wise's football squad bounce Laurel by a count of 50-0.

The Pumas now own a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Oxon Hill for a Prince George's County 4A/3A contest on Friday, September 23. Wise will encounter a Clippers squad coming off a 49-0 league win over Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD). The Clippers record now stands at 2-1.

Coming up next, the Spartans encounter the Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 24. Laurel will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Wolverines enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 56-0 league win over Central (Capitol Heights, MD).
